Your release headline will be visible to thousands of our readers for 21 days across MICE AFRICA news sites and selected newsletters.
Headlines should be under 14 words. MICE AFRICA recommends the headline starts with the company name, followed by a verb, followed by the news. Ie: MICE AFRICA Announces the Launch of Retail Dive Exhibition
Dateline
The dateline indicates when the news is available for public viewing, and where the news took place.
The dateline will be formatted automatically when you enter the city, state and country where the news is being announced.
Body Content
All press release body content must include the following:
- Newsworthy content
- Objective tone
- Legally accurate information
- Valid contact information
- Written authorization
- Standard length of approximately 400-1400 words.
- AP Style grammar and spelling
- A clear news source
MICE AFRICA Prohibited Content
Inclusion of the following content is strictly prohibited. MICE AFRICA reviews each press release submission and reserves the right to remove any post that violates the following, without credit or refund to the purchaser:
- Press releases must avoid making unsupported claims about a product’s capabilities or its health and/or safety benefits. According to FTC regulations, any such information must be substantiated by credible evidence and adhere to established scientific testing standards.
- Promotional material with the goal of acquiring a direct lead or sale from the announcement
- Poorly written news releases
- Advertisements
- Opinion pieces
- Disinformation
- Misleading information
- Blogs
- Articles
- Slander
- Inappropriate content (violent, sexual, etc.)
- Inappropriate frequency – a company cannot ‘flood the feed’ or post more than one ( 1 ) press release, per company, per publication in a 24 hour period.
