Experience luxury redefined at Radisson Collection Hotel, Waterfront Cape Town. Modern sophistication meets local heritage in this stunning coastal property.

Radisson Collection Hotel, Waterfront Cape Town: Luxury on the Coast

Radisson Hotel Group has opened its first Radisson Collection hotel in South Africa. Located on Cape Town’s Atlantic coast, this revamped hotel blends modern style with local flair.

The design is inspired by the area’s landscape – think ocean blues, sandy neutrals, earthy tones, and patterns echoing the Kaapse Fynbos. Locally sourced materials and artwork add an authentic touch. There’s even a bespoke art gallery showcasing local fashion and architecture.

“We are delighted to introduce the Radisson Collection brand to South Africa with this remarkable property in Cape Town,” said Tim Cordon, COO of Radisson Hotel Group. “Guests can now immerse themselves in the city’s charm from the perfect vantage point, enjoying unmatched luxury and comfort.”

The hotel boasts 175 rooms and suites with floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies offering ocean or marina views. Amenities include plush furnishings, thoughtful design, and a soothing soundscape.

Dining options include Tobago’s Restaurant, Bar, and Terrace (refurbishment slated for July 2025), and the new Waveside Café, offering light meals and Radisson Collection items.

Event spaces accommodate up to 350 guests, with three rooms and a boardroom. Marina views and boardwalk access are a plus.

“Our team is thrilled to welcome…new visitors to this extraordinary Cape Town destination,” said Clinton Thom, General Manager. “…we are committed to offering an elevated experience that surpasses expectations.”

Relaxation options include an infinity pool, a 24-hour fitness center, and the Amani Spa and Wellness Center.

This new hotel showcases Radisson Hotel Group’s commitment to luxury experiences in South Africa, blending contemporary elegance with local culture.
